It's all about heritage - keeping alive the memory of, and interest in, these classic machines.

030.JPG

The OVBSAOC has always been into handing out trophies. They're a great way to recognize accomplishments and to help provoke memories of good times.

Bud Kubena and Clark Francy. These guys have helped to keep the club going for many years.

032.JPG

A tradition at the rallies is for local Boy Scout Troop to perform flag raising during weekend's opening ceremonies. Check out the young man on the left. Pretty safe bet he's going to be a pretty solid citizen in his adult life.

035.JPG

Local pastor provided us with an invocation. This picture demonstrates the club's humble, but comfortable facilities.

It's early in the weekend, and the campgrounds are still filling up. And yet, this image demonstrates the wonderful diversity present at each OVBSAOC rally. Super-trick custom BMW in foreground, also to be seen is a scooter, a dual-sport bike, URAL sidecar rig, first-gen Honda 750, and of course - BSA's.

018.JPG

Another tradition - The Breakfast Ride. Can't beat a group of vintage Brit-bike-mounted friends, heading out for a nice ride and breakfast at some local establishment. John Schultz (in denim) leads the rides.

041.JPG

We keep stressing the diversity at OVBSAOC rallies. The club is not trying to dilute its primary mission of celebrating BSA and other classic British machines, but rather trying to attract as many motorcycle enthusiasts as possible to the rallies to expose them to the old Brit bikes.

Down by the old swimmin' hole. Not so common any more, but a staple at the OVBSAOC Rallies. The kids love it, and contributes to the casual, family friendly atmosphere.

Quick - how many bikes feature a kickstand on the right side? H-D Sprints, for one.

015.JPG

Kenny Strain - the OVBSAOC's most recent Board Member. No, Kenny's not getting ready to head out on the Reliability Run. Instead, he's lined up for the ever-popular Breakfast Run.

023.JPG

Perennial rally attendee Joe Sanders on a classic Triumph chopper. Where does he dig up this stuff?

Riders meeting for Clark Francy's Reliability Run Dual Sport Ride.

054.JPG

Clark is proud of the diversity of participants and bikes which participate in the Reliability Run. Vintage Honda and Hodaka 125's backed up here by a modern GS BMW with nearly ten times more displacement.

069.JPG

Steve Szewczyk and Bruce Williams wait for their minute to come up. Steve is mounted on a classic 441 BSA Victor. Bruce, on a ISDT-replica BMW.

074.JPG

Clark Francy turns riders loose at one minute intervals. That's Terry Baxter, aboard a classic Triumph twin.

075.JPG

Young Eric Choffin, on a original Honda CL175. Eric typically rides a modern Honda CR450X, but brings out the little CL to ride the Reliability Run - just for fun.
