I'm new to the forum, please don't hold against me, but I have no BSAs. Triumphs, Norton, and a 1948 Velo MAC. I want to get my T-120 (71) out of storage and serviced by someone that knows old Brit bikes. I was told of someone I think North of Dayton or in that general area that was very good.
I'm in Wilmington and there is no one around here I would trust. Thanks for any info. Terry 71,75,79 Bonnie, 75 Commando, 48 MAC |

Just wondering here, so please don't shoot me down, but why not have a go at it yourself..? A service is only dumping the oil, plugs and filter, and if it's been standing, you MIGHT need to clean out the carb. If you work on your bike, you KNOW it's been done, get a book about what bike it is, sit there and read what needs to be done. And do the jobs listed one at a time, then if it breaksdown at the side of the road, you MIGHT know how to mend it. Working on bikes is only confidence after all, well that and time...
But as I say, each to their own, and I'm only interested... |
