Right from the start we want to say THANK YOU for your interest in the Ohio Valley BSA Owners Club. There are a million things to occupy your time these days, and many other motorcycling-related club/groups and their websites out there, so we very much appreciate your interest.

Since many of us, myself included, are not particularly proficient with the computer, we've tried to make everything about the OVBSAOC website as simple and straightforward as possible. Just follow the steps outlined in this tutorial, plus the others following, and I assure you will find it very easy to work within the site.

Why Register? Well, this website is all about interaction. The internet is a fantastic tool for sharing information, and what with us all being pretty well spread out all over the world, what better way to stay in touch with other BSA enthusiasts? So, we want you all to post information on the site, share pictures, ask questions, and keep everyone informed on what is going on in your BSA-world. And yet, we must restrict access to the site to legitimate users. Registration allows me to weed out the spammers and other unsavory, time-wasting characters. Note that you need not Register in order to view anything and everything on the site, but Registration is required before you can post anything.

So, from the Home Page, just click on Create An Account, in the lower left-hand corner. On the User Registration page which opens up, fill in each of the blanks. For User Name, you can actually just put your name, or you can be creative. Remember, this is how your BSA-website buddies are going to recognize you, so consider something appropriate to you or your bike, such as "69RoyalStar", or "BSAFred". Such a tag will also help me to see you as a legitimate member rather than a scammer trying to get on board. Password just needs to be something you will remember, and your e-mail address also allows me to recognize you as legitimate, and enables us to confirm your registration.

So, once you filled this stuff in, hit Register, and an e-mail will be sent to me for approval. If you look ok, I'll confirm you and you'll receive that confirmation I mentioned above. I make every effort to respond asap, but give it a few days on the outside. Once you receive that confirmation you're ready to go. Just enter in your User Name and Password on the Home Page, under Logon Form, and you're ready to post up a storm. You can even click Remember Me ,and as long as you're logging in from your personal computer you don't even have to fill in the Logon blanks.
Yes, the Avatar image is an actual picture of me - back when I was younger and handsomer.
