DO you guys really go across that creek? That thing reminds me of the Coal River down in WV. There was a few place where you could cross it years ago, but now the DNR frown on that sort of thing. How deep do you think it is where you cross it?

Hi, FBM. Are you referring to the creek in the picture with the side-by-side, or the pic with Chad's Jeep?

Either way, we always make certain that any and all water crossings are totally navigable, even by the POS old bikes I ride.

We've even made last-minute course changes when heavy rains just before the run have raised the water crossings to an unacceptable level.

Our goal for every RR is to provide a fun and challenging ride, yet never to the point of potentially creating problems for riders.

In the pic with the SBS, landowner Craig (pictured) has crossings established in nice, shallow spots. In the pic with Chad's Jeep, the road you see actually fords the creek a little ways on. Totally do-able!

I was meaning the picture with the jeep cherkee sitting there. It look pretty deep to me. Is a POS bike one of them ones that has front and rear wheel drive, sort of like "pos-a-traction" used to be on them old chevies year ago? I seen some bike on you-tube what had that front & rear wheel drive, but they was not called POS models. I'm not sure what they was, maybe some kind of Honda or KTN (them orange bikes you see all over)

Haha - if you're expecting to find any 2wd bikes, you got the wrong club, FBM. This is more like what's used by the broke-ass OVBSAOC gang to lay out Reliability Run courses. And this is one of our NEWER bikes.

Boy, that's a nice Honda Ted. Where'd you get that one? We saw one last weekend at the Zanesville Ohio swap meet. I think the guy said he wanted $500 for it. It was about same condition as the one you got there.

A freebie, Clark. Fixed a bike for a guy, and he gave me this for payment. Complete and intact when I got, but needed engine rebuilt. Got title, too. Runs good, but something's amiss in the trans. Keeps popping out of gear.
