Cable Creek Campground, site of the OVBSAOC Rallies, is blessed with quite dramatic terrain. Big hills, multiple creeks, and lots o' rocks surround the campground.
This aggressive natural terrain has hosted numerous off-road events over the years, and continues to serve vintage and modern Observed Trials competition, as well as the "jumping off point" for the OVBSAOC's Reliability Run Dual Sport Rides.
In 2015, a National Observed Trials event was held on the property. Heavy rains over the weekend dampened but did not halt the competition. Sure made the pits muddy, though. Here are a few pics taken, not out in the "sections", but at least to show a bit of the character of the event.
