I have a hugh love/hate relationship with these unit singles, this one being 4th or 5th that I have owned, most important was it was the most complete, overall I have less than $1000 in it, thats mostly due to me not touching the engine, it runs well and make great compression and oil pressure, late bikes like this have an external oil filter which I'm sure helped
if this was easy, everyone would do it

The fellow with the 1968 Triumph T100C is Richard Colahan from Upper Black Eddy PA.
Unfortunately, the bike melted most of the wire harness about 2 miles from the start...Joe Lucas strikes again!
But it's all better now...

speaking of low cash out lay,I picked up it's older cousin (71 bsa b25t )a few weeks back, another runner with title, not going to do this one up as I got it primarly for the parts that were missing or rough on the triumph, new owner of frame should be picking it up at toronto, other parts went to B.C. canada,& montana,I'm rebuilding the engine as it spun the rod bearing (still ran )and may build a trials mount with it
if this was easy, everyone would do it

As is evident by this post, the Reliability Run has always been about providing an excellent venue for vintage bikes (and riders). While invariably the event has more recently begun to attract a lot more modern bikes, we hope everyone will keep in mind that the course remains VERY rideable by any and all bikes.

Basically, we have Alternate Routes around the tougher trail sections. So, want to go for it? By all means, ride the entire course! I typically do so on some old, funky bike, such as my stone-stock 1977 Honda XL175, just to show that the course can be negotiated by an old, fat guy on just about any competent bike.

But, say you're just not feeling that froggy, or you're riding a DS-tire-shod Adventure bike. Hey, just ride the course and follow the Alternates. We truly do create courses each and every year which can be ridden and enjoyed no matter how serious, or non-serious you and/or your bike are.

So bring out your vintage bike, your Adventure bike, your modern, DS/Enduro bike, whatever, and ride the event. Then afterwards come see me and tell me you've had anything but an absolute blast riding the course. If so, I'll give you your entry fee back. Bet you won't! ; ) Life is short! Come on out and let's ride!

Where's all the BSA's? I heard that guy from WV (Doyle somebody) was supposed to be there on a Firebird Scrambler. Did anyone see him?
